Born in 1999, Spanish violinist Helena García grew up in the province of Córdoba, Spain. A music lover since childhood, she started playing violin at the age of 10 and appeared as a soloist in various occasions in the following years.

In 2021, she earned her Bachelor’s degree at Madrid’s Royal Conservatory, studying in the class of renowned violinists and teachers Manuel Guillén and Sergey Teslya. Subsequently, she moved to Vienna to continue her studies with Mario Hossen. At the same time, she was a student of New Bulgarian University where she earned a Postgraduate and Master’s Degree in Violin Performance.

A commanding and sensitive musician, Helena has always been passionate about chamber music, having been coached on string quartet for years by artists such as the violist Igor Sulyga and cellists Helena Poggio and Beatriz Blanco.

Inspired by her mentors, Helena has shown an interest in teaching and throughout her studies she has also attended multiple pedagogy seminars and courses from renowned violinists such as Géza Szilvay or Mimi Zweig.

In 2022, she earned her Master’s Degree in Music Pedagogy on the specialty of violin. In 2023, Helena plans engagements as a soloist and chamber musician at the Sommerfestival Orpheus in Wien, Varna International Music Festival and Brahms Violin Concerto with Vratsa Symphony Orchestra.

Her work is supported by masterclasses from several leading musicians, including Nathan Cole, Mark Gothoni, Dylana Jenson, Eszter Haffner, Alexander Detísov, Alfredo García, Nicolás Chumachenco, Carole Petitdemange, Michael Frischenschlager and others.
